The first class I attended at Local left an impression to say the least. Everyone was so friendly. The energy was contagious. So here I am a year later. Still loving the energy. Still wanting to make so many more improvements after having accomplished so much. The one thing I’ll say in closing about the CrossFit Local community is how lucky I feel to share the camaraderie. My friends and family ask me all the time about “that crazy CrossFit stuff” and after telling them about the intensity of the workouts, the sweat, the pain, I always cap with the camaraderie. It keeps me coming back. Hearing people yell your name when you feel like giving up. Pats on the back after PRs. Sharing a common goal and common mindset towards fitness, health, and happiness. You don’t generally get that elsewhere. Thanks to everyone who’s helped me throughout the year and here’s to another. Love y’all. Cheers! - Sara M.

Just wanted to thank you for making CrossFit so awesome. When we first joined, between the panting and throwing up, the WODs and the group support left us feeling that the Local was amazing in letting us push (way WAY) past what we thought we were capable of and still surviving. Each and every one of the coaches are mindblowing in their own way, especially with the support they provide towards the end of a hard WOD. We didn't realize that things were going to get even better with the amazing expansion of the space as well as the new classes. - Shankar B. & Frances T.

I just want to express some love for buddy WODs, aka partner workouts. I was never self-confident enough to try to participate in any sports past elementary school so stuff like this gives me a taste of the fun many of you who did must have felt being part of a team. Watching everyone work together and compete against the clock, themselves, and other teams has put a smile on my face that might just freeze there. :) - Mike F.

I'm trying to come up with a word or phrase to describe what CF has meant to me, and I keep coming back to FAMILY; and rightfully so.  It's a family of compassion, gut wrenching workouts, sweat and compassion.  It's a family of supporting birthdays, hero WODs, giving to the community and just listening.  It's a family about people's jobs, their zest and passion for life.  To me, CF is about loving life and the family of locals. - Kevin L.
